Das Seminar findet am Donnerstag, den 15. Mai während der IFSEC von 10:00-12:00 Uhr & von 13:00-15:00 Uhr statt. Concourse 34 (direkt neben dem Eingang zu Halle 20). Arecont Vision is debuting the industry's first full line of H.264 cameras at IFSEC.We cordially invite you to join us in a seminar, which introduces the next level of Megapixel cameras. The Seminard will be held on Thursday, 15th May during IFSEC: 1st session: 10:00 - 12:00 2nd session: 13:00 - 15:00 Suite 34 (right beside the entrance hall 20).

ADI EXPO UTRECHT

On the 3rd April we took part in the ADI EXPO Utrecht to show the Trajet and Arecont product lines. We enjoyed taking part in this event and want to thank the organizer and visitors for this succesfull day. Am 3.April fand die ADI EXPO in Utrecht statt. Dort waren wir an zwei Ständen mit den Produkten von Arecont und Tajet vertreten und hoffen, dass wir Ihnen weiterhelfen konnten. Product announcement: Arecont H.264

Die neuen H.264-Kameras mit einer Auflösung von 1.3, 2, 3 und 5 Megapixel sind für das zweite Quartal 2008 geplant. Im späteren Verlauf des Jahres 2008 werden ebenfalls H.264 Panoramakameras mit Vierfachsensor erhältlich sein. Die neuen Kameras unterstützen Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) und Auto-Iris. Die H.264-Megapixel-Lösungen bieten eine Progressive Scan-Auflösung zusammen mit vielen Weiteren Funktionen. Darunter fällt auch eine hochauflösende Zoomfunktion für bereits aufgezeichnete Videos bei gleichzeitiger Darstellung des Vollbildes und des gezoomten Ausschnittes. Verbesserte Komprimierungstechniken ermöglichen bei hohen Video-Auflösungen einen bis zu 25-mal geringeren Datenstrom im Vergleich zur konventionellen MJPEG-Komprimierung, wenn man eine typische Straßenüberwachungs-Szene mit sich bewegenden Fahrzeugen und Personen aufnimmt. So kann als Beispiel die benötigte Netzwerkbandbreite einer AV3100 (3 Megapixel) bei 20 FPS nur noch 2 Mbps betragen. Arecont Vision’s new H.264 megapixel camera line has an up to 25 times greater than conventional MJPEG compression when capturing a typical street surveillance scene with moving vehicles and people. As a result, a high-quality 3 megapixel video stream at 20fps can be as low as 2 Mbps. With support for compliant Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and auto-iris control functionality, Arecont¹s H.264 megapixel surveillance solutions deliver full motion progressive scan resolution along with a host of features including Ultra Forensic Zooming to zoom in on recorded video with simultaneous viewing of zoomed and full field of view images. Arecont Vision's new H.264 1.3, 2, 3 and 5 megapixel cameras are available for evaluation with full-scale production of the single- and dual-sensor camera models slated for the second quarter of 2008. Arecont will release quad-sensor panoramic cameras with their proprietary H.264 compression technology later in 2008.

Product announcement: Veracity Outreach

Bei Outreach handelt es sich um ein Modul, das es ermöglicht Netzwerke über weite Entfernungen zu verbinden. Da normale Kabel in einem Ethernetnetzwerk auf 100m beschränkt sind, war es bisher nicht möglich Netzwerke über diese Distanz hinaus miteinander zu verbinden. Mithilfe von Outreach können nun Kabel miteinander verbunden werden, ohne dass Glasfaserkabel verwendet werden müssen, oder eine seperate Stromversorgung benötigt wird. Outreach fungiert als Signalverstärker, um Netzwerkkabel miteinander zu verbinden und somit weitere Strecken zu realisieren. Mehr Informationen zu Outreach finden Sie in der Rubrik "Produkte". Outreach is the new solution for long-distanced network systems. OUTREACH doubles, triples or even quadruples the normal 330ft (100m) CAT5 cable run length for 100BaseT networks. It forwards both Ethernet and PoE for another 330ft (100m) using a patent-pending power-processing scheme, and multiple units can be employed in series for even longer distances, with no degradation in network speed or latency. OUTREACH itself is powered by a PoE network switch (or PoE injector) and so requires no separate power connection in the middle of the cable, making it extremely easy to connect and power IP cameras two or three times further than previously possible without going to fibre or installing midspan power sources.
